8-15 Deals

This week I decided to try something different. I normally go deal shopping later in the week, but I find I have issues find items. So this week I went on Sunday. I only had 1 issue finding an item and I think it was because my local store does not carry it. I went to Target, K-mart, Dollar General and Walgreens. I also have one deal from last week that I forgot to include. Here we go!!

Target:

I still have 12 coupons for FREE dog food and a Schick razors deal to try at a different Target. Mine would not let me do it.

Disney Fund Update 8-14-10

Last time I updates we had $103 dollars in the Disney fund. I have done a HORRIBLE job of keeping up with this! I also have been rolling my weekly money instead of putting in the Disney fund like I have meant to. So therefor I am a FAILURE! LOL

I have been using our printer to print out online coupons, so my husband is making me spend Disney money to pay for the new ink. So I had to take out $20 for that.

I got a rebate check for $6 from the Armor All rebate I sent in for.

So this is what we have now:
$103 - $20 for the ink= $83
$83 + $6 for the Armor All rebate= $89

Now we have $89

I hope to do better at adding in left over deal money, since that was the whole point of starting the Disney fund in the first place!

8-8 Deals!!

This week was part good and part BUST! I shopped at Target, Walgreens and Dollar General. The one that was a bust was Walgreens. I set out for 3 deals and only ended up with one, but I guess that is better than none.

This week was also a great week. I shopped at Walgreens, Target, CVS and Dollar General.

Saved: $125.15 I also got $1 RR, $4 ECB and a $5 Target GC.

I had wonderful cashiers at Target, CVS and Dollar General. I must say the cashiers at the Florissant Target are awesome! The cashiers at the Bridgton Target are so RUDE! I am thinking about not shopping at that one anymore. We will see!

7-25 Deals GREAT WEEK!!!

After the horrible and disappointing week I had last week, THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME!!!

I made stops at Target, Walgreens and Lowes!

SPENT: $4.70 oop and even got a $3 RR from Walgreens!

SAVED: $83.07 WOW! AWESOME, AWESOME Week!

The cashier at Target was even amazed at my total! She was in disbelief! She was awesome and nothing beeped! Great trip!!

Disney Fund 7/18

This week was a GREAT week for the Disney Fund!!

I never posted how much I had from last weeks $10, actully the last 2 weeks $10. So for the last week I had $10 left.

I received a rebate check from SC Johnson for $5.

I also got called to do a marketing research round table discussion. It paid $75. I get there and they didn't need me, but I still got paid the entire $75. We are taking $25 out and my husband (Dan) is taking my to dinner and a movie. The $50 left is going into the Disney Fund.

I have also been paying less than $1 amounts with $1 and putting the change in a piggy bank. So I am only going to account for dollars. Once the piggy bank is full I will cash it in and add it to the Disney Fund.

So we are adding a total of $65 to the fund for the past 2 weeks.

We now have a total of $103 in the Disney fund!! WHOO HOO!!!!

7/18 Deals

Well ladies this week was a bust! I am soo upset!

For the 1st time I had a horrible trip to Target! The cashier was rude and then when a coupon would beep she would just take it and act like it worked, when it didn't! After getting to my car and really looking at my receipt I immediately went back in the store and returned everything to get my money back!

Walgreens was not much better. I couldn't seem to find anything I went for. I am going to attempt to go back tomorrow. I hope I have more luck!
